SAFER PLAN FOR TRINIDAD
SAFER is my 5-part plan to address pressing challenges in our community and create a brighter future for Trinidad!

R
Resources, Supporting Our Youth and Families: The lack of dedicated facilities for youth engagement and recreation highlights our failure to invest in the development of our younger generation. We must prioritize these initiatives to empower the next generation of Trinidad our youth.
E
Education Partnerships: By collaborating more effectively with Trinidad State College and our local school systems, we can provide valuable internship opportunities and workforce development programs that we have not fully explored.
F
Fostering Economic Development: Our city lacks a comprehensive economic development program to attract businesses, leaving us at a disadvantage. We need to create a compelling strategy that addresses rising utility costs and other barriers for growth.
A
Addressing Homelessness: There is a critical need for outreach programs that connect homeless individuals with necessary resources, which we as a city have not yet implemented.
S
Safety: We must actively engage residents in safety initiatives and rebuild state relationships to secure resources for public safety improvements and infrastructure upgrades.
This plan embodies our shared vision for a resilient Trinidad. By prioritizing collaboration, inclusivity, and economic growth, we will reclaim our city's potential!
